Mountain Olympus is the highest peak in Wasatch valley and not bad of the hike, personally i have never done it in winter but i have heard that it is not a recommended thing to do. That area of mountains is not groomed or patrolled, so be very weary.

During the snowstorm in Salt Lake City, looking at mountain Olympus. Winter of 2008 had weeks were the snow storm would damp half a foot of snow in the Wasatch valley twice or three times a day.
